Update (May 24): Amazon has already revealed the price of Amazfit Bip S on the site. It will be priced at Rs 4,999, similar to the Amazfit Bip.

With the greatest growth seen in the portable clothing segment in India, Huami Corporation, a business focused on biometric data and activities with significant expertise in smart wearable technology, will launch its Amazfit Bip S smart watch in India.

Scheduled for a launch on June 3 in the country, the Amazfit Bip S was unveiled for the first time at CES 2020. It is an affordable smart watch equipped with battery life, compass and sleep tracking with an ultra-light and slim body design.

It has a colorful transflective screen and a water resistance of 5 ATM which translates to “water resistant to 50 meters”, so a dip in the pool should not be a problem. The company claims a 40-day autonomy, which is quite exceptional for a smartwatch.

Bip S incorporates Huami-PAI, a revolutionary personal activity indicator that gives users details on heart health and general fitness.

This light and comfortable to wear smart watch is equipped with 10 sport modes – treadmill, outdoor running, walking, indoor cycling, outdoor cycling, to name a few.

It toggles a 1.28 “trans-reflective MIP screen with a large viewing area, which makes it easily visible in direct sunlight. The smartwatch screen renders real vivid colors with 64 Gamut, which is a welcome feature.

Overall, the main features of the Huami Bip S promise to be value for money mainly due to the presence of a heart rate monitor and GPS. Being a light device and offering a long battery life also counts in its favor.

While the price in the American market is around $ 69.90, it should be launched in India below the 5,000 rupee mark.
