The Samsung Galaxy A31 will be launched in India on June 4. The teaser page of the same is now online on the official website of Samsung India. Interestingly, this is the fifth device to have recently surfaced that we plan to launch in India in the coming weeks.
The company is preparing to launch four new M series smartphones in India in the coming weeks, namely – the Galaxy M01, M11, M31s and M51. The Samsung Galaxy A31 will be the successor to the Galaxy A30 which is currently available for Rs 14,999.
Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A31
The Samsung Galaxy A31 has a 6.4-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED screen with Infinity-U style notch. The device has a quadruple camera configuration with a 48MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a depth of 5MP followed by a 5MP macro shooter. The phone supply will be a 5000 mAh battery with a fast charge of 15 W.
The Samsung Galaxy A31 will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P65 chipset and is expected to ship with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in storage. We can also expect the device to work on a One UI 2.0 base on Android 10. In addition, we expect the device to have a built-in fingerprint scanner on the screen, because it comes with an AMOLED panel.
In addition, the Galaxy A31 is likely to come with a 20 MP front camera. Other features found on global variants include a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G, Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, and a Type C port for charging.
There is no word on pricing yet. Since there are quite a few big upgrades, especially in the camera department with a 48MP four camera setup, we can expect the price of the device to be around 20,000 rupees for the basic variant.
