Xiaomi recently launched its first TWS earphones, the Mi True 2 Wireless Headphones in India alongside the Mi Box 4K and the flagship smartphone from Mi 10. A week after the announcement, Redmi India started teasing a new audio product launch, which could be a TWS from Redmi.
Redmi India took Twitter to tease the next launch. The teasers say “Redmi will become audio” and “without any conditions”. Going through the teaser, we can clearly say that the company is launching a new bass-focused audio product.

Redmi India's new audio product could be the Redmi AirDots, which is one of the highly anticipated products here in India. It could also be a Redmi Bluetooth speaker, much like the way Redmi launched its own power bank a few months ago. And, finally, the product could also be that of Redmi a new soundbar which should also be launched in China soon.
Could it be Redmi AirDots S?
Going through the interaction with Redmi's tweet, many people guessed it Redmi AirDots. the Redmi AirDots was launched in 2018, which was the cheaper alternative for Apple AirPods for Android users. But, last month, the company announced the AirDots successor dubbed the AirDots S.
The Redmi AirDots S TWS comes with Bluetooth 5.0 which connects faster and more stable compared to the last generation. It uses the Realtek RTL8763BFR Bluetooth chip and supports dual channel stereo. The headset weighs approximately 4.1g and can last up to 4 hours on a single charge with the built-in 300mAh battery. With the charging case, the Redmi AirDots S will last up to 12 hours.
The company did not disclose the launch date, we should soon get more information. It's also worth mentioning that Poco has also announced that it will soon bring its own TWS to India, soon to be called pop Buds.
