The Motorola Razr is now available in a superb Gold color from today on Flipkart. Motorola launched the Razr with only the only black color option in India. The Gold color option was available in other regions, including the United States.
The Motorola Razr is a competitor to the Galaxy Z Flip and even if it does not offer the high-end internal components available in the first, it has the punch factor with a more exquisite design and also the associated nostalgia factor which brings out. The gold color will only make it more attractive. It's a matte finish and it covers the back with a dotted texture and the chin. The camera also has a beautiful gold ring which adds a nice touch to it. The rest of the phone, including the front, is still black.
Another thing that stands out is the price. The Razr, with its mid-range specs, isn't exactly inexpensive. It costs Rs 1,24,999. It is available in one variant – 6 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM. The Galaxy Z Flip, on the other hand, costs Rs 1,15,999 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM and has better internals. Current offers on the handset include a cash back of 10,000 rupees with Citibank cards as well as a 5% discount on the Flipkart Axis Bank credit card.
The Motorola Razr has a flexible 6.2-inch OLED screen and a hinge mechanism that has been the subject of discussion on the phone since its launch. Thanks to this, the fold, which is very evident on most foldables, is almost nonexistent to the eye. Another area where the Razr trumps the Z Flip is its large 2.6-inch Quick View outdoor screen.
With the new update for Android 10, this outdoor display has become much more useful. It can now be used to send text messages, make calls, access shortcuts or just work as a viewfinder. It is powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC and a modest 2,510 mAh battery.
