It seems that Motorola, the brand belonging to Lenovo, exceeds the average price segment and makes a strong comeback in the flagship space of smartphones. After launching Edge and Edge + (click to buy here) in April, the company looks set to launch another mid-range device, the Motorola One Fusion Plus.
Directions for the new device appeared on the YouTube Device Report page, which updated several new lists. One of them is the Motorola One Fusion Plus, a name that first appeared last month Evan Blass, predicting its launch in the second quarter of 2020.

The list suggests that the new device comes with a 6.5 inch 1080p screen and runs on Android 10. It has a 5000 mAh power plant and has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor under its hood. The page indicates June 2020 as the release date.
The Lenovo-owned company launched the Motorola Edge and Edge Plus (buy it here) in April, the two devices are delivered with the latest chipsets, large batteries and multi-camera bays and OLED screens curved at 90 Hz. The Edge Plus is expensive while the Edge could be more affordable when it is launch later this year.
The lists on the YouTube device page were first noticed by XDA developers, who quickly pointed out the bad image attached to the so-called Motorola One Fusion Plus, as it was obviously that of the Motorola Edge in Solar Black. And the image downloaded against the Motorola Edge is clearly that of another device.
Of course, one cannot be sure that the image shown against the Motorola Edge could be the One Fusion Plus. The developers of XDA also point out that the only other device of the brand that has a 64MP camera is the Motorola One Hyper, but the image is not that of the particular model either.
So what exactly does the image indicate? He suggests a flat screen, a pack of four rear cameras with a 64MP primary sensor, a USB Type-C port and a headphone jack and possibly a rear fingerprint sensor. The rendering does not give much more details on the device.
However, the XDA developers suggest that the device, named “liberty”, has the model numbers XT2067-1 and XT2067-2. Rumor has it that it has 64/128 GB of internal storage with multiple cameras, including Samsung's 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 as the primary shooter.
The report says the two models have been certified by the FCC and are expected to launch in two colors – Cloud and Sugarfrost – in India, the Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
And, chances are that alongside the launch of the One Fusion Plus, we can also see the cheaper Motorola One Fusion, which would have a 6.5-inch screen with the Qualcomm 710 processor, 4/6 GB of RAM and internal storage of 64 or 128 GB. This device would also work on Android 10 and would come with batteries of 5000 mAh.
It's only a matter of time before more details about these smartphones appear, as YouTube has already leaked enough to spark market interest.
